This website (Website) is operated by Hotel Coco Pty Ltd ABN 18 675 694 238 (referred to as Medusa Bondi, MB, we, us or our).
MB manages all accommodation listings and acts as an agent between Hosts and Guests (Services).
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to all services made available by MB, whether accessed online, via mobile device, email or telephone. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (you, user, Guest or Host) and Hotel Coco Pty Ltd governing your use of the Website.
By accessing, browsing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms (including our Privacy Policy).
MB reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any updates will be published on this page and take immediate effect. Where reasonable, we will provide notice of significant changes.
Enquiries and Reservations
Searching
You may search for properties using criteria such as location, dates and number of guests. Filters may also be used to refine results.
Making an Enquiry
To request a booking, you must submit an enquiry including:
Full name
Contact number
Email address
Current location or address
Intended arrival and departure dates
Number of guests
Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
Our team will contact you to confirm availability and discuss your request. MB reserves the right to accept or decline enquiries at its discretion.
If your enquiry progresses to a booking, you may be required to enter into a separate agreement outlining the specific conditions of your stay.
You warrant that all information provided is accurate, complete and up to date.
Reservations
A reservation grants a limited licence to enter, occupy and use the accommodation in accordance with these Terms and any additional agreement.
MB reserves the right to re-enter the accommodation during your stay where:
reasonably necessary
permitted under your agreement
compliant with applicable laws
If you remain beyond your checkout time, MB may require you to vacate and may apply reasonable overstay charges.
You must not exceed the maximum number of permitted guests.
Booking Modifications, Cancellations and Refunds
Booking Modifications
All booking modifications must be requested directly through MB. Additional fees, charges or taxes may apply.
Cancellation Policy
Stays under 28 nights:
Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking, provided check-in is at least 14 days away
50% refund if cancelled at least 7 days before check-in
No refund if cancelled within 7 days of check-in
Stays of 28 nights or longer:
Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in
After this period, deposits are non-refundable
For stays of 2 months or longer, 3 weeks’ notice is required for early termination after check-in
In some cases, alternative policies may apply and will take precedence.
Fees and Payment
Payments may be made via:
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Credit Card
PayPal
Cash
Cheque
If a payment is declined or unpaid, you are responsible for any associated fees or charges.
MB reserves the right to change service fees at any time. Any changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings.
Code of Conduct
MB operates in accordance with the Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry.
By using our Services, you agree to comply with this Code at all times, including acting honestly, respectfully and in good faith in all dealings with MB, Hosts and neighbours.
Your Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk

You agree to:
Use the Website and Services only as permitted by these Terms and applicable laws
Not use the Website for unauthorised or illegal purposes
Not engage in scraping, hacking, reverse engineering or disrupting the Website
Provide accurate and complete information at all times
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that use of the Website and accommodation involves inherent risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume all risk associated with:

Your stay at any accommodation
Disclaimer
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law:
All other warranties are excluded
The Website is provided “as is” without guarantees of accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose
You should make your own enquiries before relying on any information.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MB (including its affiliates, employees and agents) is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including:
Loss of profits, data or goodwill
Service interruption or system failure
Personal injury or emotional distress

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MB harmless against any claims, losses or expenses arising from:

Intellectual Property
All content on the Website (including text, images, branding, design and code) is owned or licensed by MB and protected by intellectual property laws.
